December 2025: Reflect, Recharge, and Reignite
As the year draws to a close, many of us are running on empty -juggling patients, team demands, deadlines, and the pressures of the season. It's easy to forget that the final stretch isnât about pushing harder - itâs about pausing with intention.
December is a time for boundaries, kindness, reflection, and gratitude; not just for others, but for yourself too. Whether youâre celebrating wins or navigating challenges, this is your reminder to take stock of how far youâve come, and start gently turning your attention to what you want for the year ahead and how youâll support yourself to get there.
As always, weâre here to guide you on that journey and this monthâs edition is packed with inspiration, momentum, and updates you donât want to miss.

đ§ Human Due Diligence at the ADG Conference
At the Association of Dental Groups National Conference, Dr Rana Al-Falaki took the stage to speak on a powerful topic: Human Due Diligence: the missing piece in performance.
Forget metrics alone. True due diligence is about trust, commitment, collaboration, motivation and energy.
We showed how these âsoftâ metrics can be measured, developed, and used to boost team culture, reduce risk and absenteeism and enhance performance and retention even in high-pressure dental environments.
đ Two Awards That Mean the World
This month, Dr Rana was humbled to receive two powerful awards:
⨠Transformational Speaker of the Year â from the Professional Speakers Academy, recognising her impact in empowering individuals and teams to create lasting, meaningful change.
⨠Women of Heart Award â for leadership, wellbeing and contribution to global impact in dentistry and beyond.
The Women of Heart Awards honour those who lead with compassion, courage, and connection, celebrating not just what you do, but who you become in the process.
To be recognised for using her voice to create ripples of positive change is a moment of deep gratitude.
đ Private Dentistry Column: The Power of Gratitude
This monthâs Private Dentistry feature explored one of the most overlooked tools in performance: Gratitude.
We talked about how genuine appreciationânot toxic positivityâtransforms energy, culture, and outcomes.
Yes, it improves team morale. But it also boosts focus, retention, patient experience, and profit.
Gratitude isnât fluffy. Itâs fuel. So focus on that this month and pass on that gratitude to yourself and others.
đź Performance Transformations in Real Practices
Weâve loved seeing our Titanium and Platinum members continue to rise, elevating their leadership, confidence, and clarity.
From clinical leaders to practice managers, itâs been incredible to watch teams step into their potential with the help of our award-winning NAIL-IT system and expert coaching team.
Every training, every workshop, every mentoring sessionâit all adds up to more confidence, stronger leadership, and tangible results.
And yes - more joy too!
đą Personal Growth: Taking Time to Breathe
In between it all, Dr Rana took a week for an advanced meditation retreat - to reflect, recharge, and remind herself what it means to live fully.
Even when the world is chaotic, calm is a skill, and clarity is a choice.
This kind of pause is part of leadership. Not a break from it.
And she came back with even more to give.
đŻ Final Thoughts
